Our Accounting Firm History
Our firm was established on April 27, 1984, in Laurel, MS, by Pinky L. Jones, a former IRS Revenue Agent and the first minority woman in the State of Mississippi to own a Tax Franchise.
2005
National Tax Centers Accounting Firm expanded to 12 locations across multiple states in the U.S. by 2005.
2007
To better symbolize our expanding range of nationwide capabilities, we changed our name to National Tax Centers, which later became NTC Accounting Firm.
2022
NTC Accounting Firm was featured on the Montel Williams show “The Balancing Act” as a leading accounting firm, highlighting their exceptional services and expertise.

Barnell Jones, EA, is a distinguished entrepreneur and accountant with over 18 years of experience specializing in tax industry solutions. He has been President/CFO of a family-owned accounting firm since 2005, expanding its reach across multiple states and serving a diverse client base. The firm, founded by his mother in 1984, includes a team of tax professionals, bookkeepers, CPAs, Enrolled Agents, and Tax Attorneys.
